I’ve been halfway looking for a recent model truck to replace an older 2002 Chevy K-1500. Truck was a weekend warrior primarily tasked with hauling our boat and only had 92k miles on it. I was primarily looking at Chevys and GMCs. While watching a football game at a bar, saw the commercial for the Pro Backup Assist. After seeing the potential for not having to shoulder all of the trailer responsibilities at the lake, started digging into the F-150s. Three weeks later I took delivery of a 2018 SCREW Platinum Edition FX4 with the 3.5L Ecoboost. While I’m gonna miss my VW GTI daily driver, I’m thrilled with the truck so far. Thanks to the forum and sponsors already picked out and ordered a new tonneau.
