Hello From Central Indy
Hey there!
My name is Jakob (most guys on forums just call me Hoosier) and I am from the Indianapolis metropolitan area. I'm currently a senior in high school and I like to spend time outside, which is the main reason I got into trucks and SUVs. I was driving a Toyota Corolla Sport, which I still have a huge affinity for, but was able to get a deal from a coworker on a 2004 F-150 XLT SuperCab. It is two wheel drive, which was kind of a con, but it also has brand new all terrain tires and it hand newer rims on it, rather than the stock ones. I got it for $3500, which was half of the Kelly Blue Book Value. I've replaced the stereo, and speakers, and plan on adding two subwoofers under the back seat some time early next year. I'll probably add a thread about that if there is a subforum for it somewhere. But, long story short, hello from a new F-150 owner in Indy!

That's a beautiful truck. Take the next few weekends and go through ALL your fluids, drop the transmission pan and get a look at the magnet, check brakes, all that jazz, if you haven't already. What engine do you have? 5.4?
Thanks! I've actually had all of that done by a very good friend of mine who is a mechanic. I also replaced the junk plugs that were in the '04 stock as well with brand new plugs. As for the engine, it is the 4.1 V8.
She is a very clean truck for her age. It is really amazing that I got lucky and knew her previous owner. I'll post up some interior pics tonight. Side note, does anyone know how to remove window stickers? There are several on the back and I don't mind them but I'm having some pictures taken with the truck and my mom would rather them not be there.
