Hey all,
I've been reading posts for the last month and figured I'd join. I've been learning a lot and I hope to help out a bit as well.
My vehicle history:
1988 Chevy K5 Blazer - The first car I bought when I turned 16. A lot of fun and a lot of work. After two years, I ended up blowing out the rear end and the head gasket among other things. I can't say I didn't learn though. Now I know what not to do and I spent the better part of the summer rebuilding the engine.
1996 Toyota Tercel- Funny, I know. I needed a car for college and it was the only thing I could find at the time. But hey, it got the job done. Until last month. after about two years of owning the car, when some idiot blew threw a stop sign and totaled it, but on the bright side, now I have the F150.
2001 Ford F150- Finally back to driving a truck. I'm still in school so the 2WD and V6 4.2L fits my needs, but I still wanna go bigger
I was always a GM guy until the bailouts and now I'm in love with this truck. I have a few things in the works. A new deck is on the way and a 1.5" Daystar Kit is waiting to be installed among other things. Lets hope I can break my two year curse on vehicles.
Its dark blue but for whatever reason this picture looks purpleish
