Just joined from Tampa, Florida. I'm back in the pick-up truck world as I traded in a leased Chevy Trax (the worst vehicle in the world!) and went with a used 2010 F-150.

I had a 2003 NOS that was my first "brand new" vehicle back in 2004. It was the basic model with the long bed. Since then it's been SUV's and sedans. I ride more than I drive and wanted a pick-up for those days when I need one, but don't have one! It's only me and my two pups so I looked for something cheap and not worth stealing!

I gotta tell ya, used trucks go FAST!!! I, literally, got burned by 2 dealers on three separate occasions! As soon as the trucks were posted on trade-in's I'd shoot down to the dealer, look at the truck before prep and tell them I wanted it. After the sales guy tells me to call him in the morning, by the time I did he told me it was sold! THREE DIFFERENT TIMES!!!

Happened to nail it on the fourth attempt! A 2010 XL. It's in really good shape, under 80K and just bought a used Pace Edwards roll-out tonneau cover for it after gutting that stupid, plastic bedliner!

Anyway, I'm sure I'll be reading up and having questions on maintenance along the way!

I don't have any yet but I will tell you, it's nothing to get excited about! I mean, it isn't beat up but it's a truck....and it's what I wanted! (And it's dirty right now from the recent rains!)
