I found this forum while troubleshooting a headlight issue and thought I'd hang around. I'm in BC, Canada and I'm an 80s F150 junkie. My daily driver is a 1981 standard cab, longbox 4x4 with the manual 4 speed transmission and the 302. I've been calling her Copper. She is the result of an 81 F150, 81 F250 and and an early 80s Ranger become one single thing of great beauty. I admit I did NOT do the restoration job.
My other girl is a 1985 F150 reg cab, longbox, 4x4, standard 4 speed transmission with the 300. Her name is Betsy. She is my current project and I'm doing all the work myself so it's taking some time but great progress has been made. Betsy has been my farm truck/rough road work truck for a few years now.
