Hi,

I'm Marty from central NJ. I have a long history owning Chevies... 85 Caprice Classic Wagon, 87 Monte Carlo SS, 96 K2500, 05 Corvette. Also had an 03 Jaguar S-Type R, but that's a different story.

Anyway, this 99 F150 is my first Ford (although I come from Ford/Mercury/Lincoln driving parents). After my K2500 decided to start costing more in repairs than it was worth a few years ago, I needed a new hauler/winter truck (can't drive a Vette or Jag in the winter; I've always had my winter truck) and I just figured it was time to switch to Ford. It's up on a Fabtech 6" suspension lift, 3" body lift, 22" rims, and 40" Toyo tires.

And of course I have an issue now, which I will of course post separately in the correct forum.

Welcome from So Cal. Nice truck. Makes my 2000 F-150 look pretty sad. She's a bone stocker XLT.

 

Nothing wrong with stock; some things don't need to be modded. Plus, if your 2000 goes over 30mph, you have one up on me right now. lol
