Hello from AK!
Hey guys,
New member here living in Alaska. I currently have a 2017 STX with the 3.5 EcoBoost. It’s been a flawless truck up until recently, but hopefully that will get squared away soon. I love pretty much everything about it. It’s also affordable to commute in at around 20 mpg average, which is nice for my 60 mile round trip every day.
Been part of a Ford family since I can remember. Growing up we had a 94 F150 XLT, a 2002 XLT, and a 2005 XLT that I bought from my dad before I moved to AK in 2015. It lasted til 2017 when it experienced cam phaser failure at about 176K miles.
I bought this truck in the fall of 2017 and use it for commuting and hauling toys around Alaska in the summer and winter. Hoping to have it back in top shape soon but I have been tossing around the idea of a 7.3 F250...
