Hello!
I’m new here but not new to the world, lol. I am very old school and like to do things myself. These “new fangled” engines with all of their computer enhancements stump me! Just give me a vehicle with a carburetor (maybe even fuel injectors) and I’ll repair or rebuild it myself. Put a computer in the mix, and I’m doing oil changes and maintenance! Ask me specifics about what engine I might be driving after the year 1970 and I’ll shrug my shoulders and say whatever came with the vehicle!
I don’t change tires anymore, only because of my disabilities, but I will jumpstart anyone who needs it. I finally got my first truck, a Ford F-150, single cab with 8ft bed (unless it’s got 8ft, what good is it?), rear wheel drive, 2x4, with tow package. All necessary ingredients for me to call it a truck!
I love woodworking, especially repairing/restoring antique wood furniture and I am an amateur photographer. My favorite saying is “I’ll never grow up!”
