Hello
Father of 2. Husband. Camper. Owner of a daily driver '96 F150 2wd 300" AT and an in-pieces '79 Bronco 351w. Engineering student. Woodsman. **** kicking drunken freak. Counter guy.
I work at an automotive candy land. The place has been in business for 51 years, having started out as a carburetor rebuild shop. A '32 Whippet is a real car, and I recently sold a carburetor for one which I believe was new, old stock. Much of our inventory comes from buying the entire stock of closed auto parts stores, but we are also an industry leading charging systems firm. We do a lot of industrial equipment electrical parts with businesses, but the walk-in customer never leaves empty handed. We are problem solvers.
This is not meant to be a plug for my company (which will remain unnamed). Maybe it is a plug for me. I am not an ad-bot. Our work tends to define us, and that is true of me. I am a dad first. Then I am a Ford man, then I am a counter guy.
We can grind 140 amps out of an idling '70 impala for the gangsta stereo system, but we can also deliver 440 amps from an idling F350+ ambulance. We don't do lifts, drivetrains or plastic surgery. We DO electronic replacements for points and hi-idle systems. Today I sold a brand new original production variable-venturi carb for a '70 LTD 302" --we do carbs, and kits. We have about 8,000 carbs and 14,000 kits in stock. We do a ton of lighting, especially industry standard stuff for big trucks and trailers.
So, hit me up if you are hunting for something freaky, especially for those older fords. I'll give you a nice price break if I have it and maybe I'll earn a customer or friend in the process.
I like the '79s myself, but I am looking for a crew cab long bed. If I find one, I'll be looking for a parking spot.
