Hello
Hello gentleman. New to the site but not F series trucks. Currently have an '87 f-250 4x4 and '89 F-150 sb.
The F-150 is a stripped down model with the 4.9 engine and will be receiving a '95 5.8 engine soon. Also plan to swap the C-6 for a T5 manual sometime after the engine swap.
The F-250 has a new rebuilt 460 sitting on the engine stand ready for installation. I removed the hot rod 460 I had built for it several years ago in favor of a near stock build. The cylinder heads are modified 370 pieces fitted with 2.08 and 1.65 valves, a little port clean up and fire grooves cut into the quench pads. The camshaft is a custom hydraulic flat tappet grind with emphasis on fuel efficiency and low RPM torque and throttle response. The stock intake has had the 4 holes removed and the divider wall has been cut down so all 4 barrels of the carb. feed all cylinders.
Anyhow, thanks for adding me to the population here.
Bruce
