Default Hello from OR

Thanks for adding me to your forum.

Recently picked up.
2002 F150 SuperCab 4x4 styleside
5.4L,2V, SOHC EFI V8 GAS
Assembled in Norfolk, Virginia
167,000 miles
3" lift, Black in color, No dents. The tires had 75%.

The guy I bought it from just had the transmission rebuilt (less than 400 miles on it) when the motor started running bad and what he described as sounded like a rod knocking. The truck was 150 miles away but I figured for $1500 that he wanted and another $1200 for a used motor I could have a good looking and running 4x4. When we started it to load on the trailer I knew it wasn't a rod it sounded more like a real bad exhaust leak. Got it home and found that #4 cylinder blew the spark plug out. Well a buddy already had the tool to repair it so I just had to buy the $50 insert.

Welcome to the forum Travis!

Sounds like an awesome truck you got there! Glad you figured out what the problem was with the knocking sound!
