Smile Hello

Hello

First, i'm so sorry for my english but my mother language is French.
I am new owner of a ford f150 imported from USA. (because I live in Belgium and the f150 does not exist in Europe)
I am 26 years old and I come from Brussels.

This is a FX4 2004. I love my truck. I wanted one since I was 18 years old

However, I have a problem with my truck that I wrote in the forum, and I hope that you will help me.

Thank you,

Pomm

Welcome to the forum! Good luck with the truck, and figuring out its problem. I'm sure there are a few fellow members on here that will be able to help you with it.

Welcome to the forum, without any history I would start with the basics, plugs and filters, look for vacuum leaks etc...you didn't mention any driveability problems other than poor mileage so keep your initial search simple.

One question I have for you, does driving an american made truck in Europe a positve or negative experience? And why?

American trucks in Europe have enormously of success but not many people buy them because of the size of the truck, not easy to park in town (here, there is many many many Smart, Mini Cooper, VW golf,... so american truck... not practical) and the price of gasoline 1.70 EUR / liter (2.30 USD / liter)... This is why we use LPG 0,65EUR / liter ( 0,88USD / liter). In Europe, most trucks are 4-cylinder gasoline or diesel (2.0l or 3.0l)

Also, American trucks parts are very dificult to find it in Europe (light, filter, spark plug,...)

But for me, american car => the best

The problem is that I've no history of truck... I bought it one month ago ... So I don't know what has been done and what I have to repair ...

Also, my steering is hard. But when I don't drive for one day, it returns to normal and after a few days, it's hard again...
