Default Greetings from Oregon

Hey everyone, I'm new here. Just got an 84 F150 Extended Cab 2x4. Has the 5.8 liter. Does anyone know what the stock carb on that should be? Mine came with an Edelbrock 600, which I am going to swap for a Holley. (Matter of preference. Not looking to start anything.) Anyway, Looking forward to making some friends, getting some questions answered, maybe answer a few myself and see what this truck becomes. No pictures as of yet. but will get some soon.

Will

Do you have a G, H, or W in your VIN?

Based on the G your truck started life with a Motorcraft 2bbl 2150 carburetor. That said if they changed intake with a OEM 4bbl style then the Holly for Motorcraft 4180 (like mine with H in the vin) would be the replacement to stay close to OEM.

Thanks for joining Will, I like those older trucks. There are a lot of knowledgeable members here that can help to give you advice.
