Default Greetings all!

Hi everybody! I was looking for O2 sensor information, found it here and decided to join. I'm from the Oklahoma City area, a creaky 59 (soon to be 60) years old. I test run military jet engines after overhaul or for identifying a problem squawked by the ground crews. I own a 2010 Super Crew Lariat 4X4 with a 5.4 providing locomotion. I nicknamed him Scout since my Dads' old 1970 F100 Ranger was heavily involved in providing transport for our Scout troop back in the good ol' days when nobody thought anything of kids riding back in the bed. ;-) I bought Scout used in December of 2016 with 90K miles and currently have just under 112K.
I've had my share of other vehicle makes and with one exception, a '73 Buick Century, I've either been so underwhelmed by other vehicles that I either never wanted another or have had outright disastrous experiences (I'm looking at you Jeep and newer Buick, both bought new) that I swore them off altogether. The experiences of others may vary, but I have never been left stranded by any of my Fords and every one of them has been a very pleasant experience.
I'll be around some. Y'all take it easy!

Ol' Scout

Thanks Mike, but I can't take any service credit. The base I work at is a Depot Center. We civil servants do all the heavy maintenance to the air frames and engines. Most of my co-workers are former military, but I'm not. Kinda got forced into a new career in my mid 40's by my old employer of 24 years leaving Oklahoma City. The base at that time had decided to only hire FAA certified Air Frame and Powerplant mechanics and I got into a tech school for that and spent the next 18 months getting my certificates and got hired by the Air Force.

Thanks to all of you for the welcome! Don't have much planned for awhile, at least until we get my wife's '13 Taurus SHO paid off. That said, possibly an exhaust change, although I prefer to keep things on the quiet side so I can hear my old school heavy metal. :-) I test drove a different F150 at the dealer where I bought Scout and I couldn't hear myself think.
