Good evening
Hey there everyone. I've looked over this forum for a long while and love the community. I'm a 17 yr old High school senior, livin' in Central IL. I'm a regular kid, and a future machine head. I used to work at the local body shop, and I'm prez of the school auto club
Some of the people here may not like the fact that at the moment I DO NOT own an F-150.. Sorry. But I'm a hard working kid and I've finally come to make enough money to afford mine. Here in a week I'm meeting a guy to purchase my first pickup, so I jumped the gun to join but oh well!
But my family is all ford (WOOHOO
) and I have owned my share of them. My vehicle is my Mustang. But I dont want to make the wrong impression, because we are in no way rich. I'm very lucky. My first vehicle was my 1996 Full size bronco. Clean New Mexico truck, then when it came to buy a new car it HAD to be ford. So I found a guy in finacial trouble and got lucky on a trade for my old truck.. I still owe quite a bit of money but it was NOWHERE near the $25,000 price on these machines. No, my parents don't pay for my car, I work at a local Pizza Hut and Hog farm at all times. So naturally, I bought an old beat up Jeep off some boys on craigslist for $2,000 (all the money I had on the side) and worked on it and replaced transmission fenders and all flaws and flipped that vehicle and just sold her about a week ago for $4,700. A 20 yr old kid bought it off me for asking price (I was very lucky). So now with saved money and that extra cash I of course made the executive desicion to buy this new supercrew. I am not rich. I am a kid that was smart and lucky with money and i've had alot of help. I plan to keep this truck and my car for so many years to come.
The first two pics are my car when I bought it, and the last is the jeep when I sold it.
Ps. sorry for the long life's story, I thought maybe somebody would be interested. and to show that I'm no rich kid, I wish, but I'm a country boy who likes the finer things in life. Thanks for Reading this far. Enjoy my pictures!
