GM guy got a Ford!
Hello all,
New here, I just bought a 2006 F150 XLT supercab w/ a 4.6... High miles, 132,XXX...
This is the first Ford I've owned, truck has a few issues that need to be addressed, expected for how many miles the truck has. I have a check engine light for an evap leak, after messing w/ gas cap scanner showed evap back to 100% so hopefully a new cap will do the trick. Scanner is also showing a miss fire... Truck idles a little rough.
Can I get some recommendations on what general maintenance I should do on this truck w as many miles as it has? This is the first used truck I've bought.
I plan on throwing a 2/4 or 4/6 (undecided) drop and 22's here w/ in the next few weeks. Any pointers when it comes to dropping this model year F150?
