General Discussion
I can't seem to find a post I read from TravelRider ( I think), it was in reference to Wheel Stops being greased. I have a 2015 that was purchased in 2016 it is a F150 FX4 that is lifted and this is the 1st time I have had a vehicle like this so I am not sure about some things how they sound or operate, I do know that a scrapping noise is not good, so I took mine to the dealer and explained the noise I was hearing when I made a hard turn either direction and going over bumps and not going over bumps. They inspected it and found what I was talking about, they said the Wheel Stops needed to be greased, said that when I take it in for general service I should have that checked from time to time. I have a co-worker that had a basic F150 and he said the same had happened to him. I hope Ford is keeping an eye on this sort of problem so that if needed it could be considered a recall and be taken care of in the near future, I am almost out of warranty and I am not looking forward to the charges I am going to have to pay when this happens again.
