Default FNG from NC

Hey guys (no I didn't assume anyones gender!), FNG here. Just bought a 2011 F150 Lariat Limited. I love the truck so far and I'm looking forward to learning all I can about it and being an active part of the F150 community.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase! Can't wait to see it. Do you already have any mods in mind?

Hey thanks for the congrats. The only mods I have in mind up to this point is aesthetic type stuff. Not too much a fan of chrome (emblems) or anything that doesn't match the trucks color scheme (ex: turn signals on side mirrors). I haven't really researched mods for the 6.2 yet but it has a Flowmaster muffler put on it from the previous owner. Not really sure which Flowmaster it is but it's kind of like the mullet of exhausts. Business (somewhat quiet) during idle, party (not obnoxiously loud but you'll know it's driving next to you) during throttle.

The very first mod I'm planning on doing is making this backup camera not utterly useless in the dark (pic below for reference). Kind of disappointed in the Ford engineers as this seems to be an afterthought that they never wanted to improve on (not sure if it's better in the newer models) with the huge blind spot and the camera picking up the tag lights.

In the threads that I've searched, this seems to be a popular choice with only a few naysayers. I've got a few other ideas in mind but I gotta do some more research. On a side note, does anyone know if these backup cameras are capable of picking up IR light? I don't have an IR array to test it out at this moment.
