Hi everyone, my name is Howard, and have just purchased my first F-150. It's a 2016 Lariat FX4, with the sport and Lariat special appearance package. I've just read through the 5.0 coyote thread, and am proud to say, I've got the Mustang engine
Through my life of 50+ years, I've only owned 4 PU's. An S10, a Ranger, a Ram and now this. Definitely the most plush of them all. Anyway, I went in knowing I wanted a Lariat with the 502A, and the 3.5 Eco, but the looks of my new baby, made me compromise just a tad. The 501 package ain't too shabby, especially when I saved $6,000 Getting the 501 vs. the 502. So, in other words, they kindly used lube. $48,000 out the door, vs. $55,000. Almost makes me miss my $10,000 S-10
Now, without further ado, here she is....

Reading my post, I can see why there may be some confusion as to which engine I got. I wanted the 3.5tt, but it didn't come in the truck I set my eyes on. I also wanted the 502 package, to get the LED headlights, but settled for the 501a. It was more important to me, to be different from all of the other F150's out there. Hope this cleared up any confusion. Also, the stripe with the red line came with the Lariat appearance package. As did the black and red seats. I wanted the 3.5tt, because I was coming from a Challenger R/T, and wanted the extra sprinting capabilities. But the 5.0 is more than adequate. Love the cooled seats and the flat floor under the rear seats! My god these things have a ton of room! Getting the line x sprayed in on Tuesday.

Looks sick!!! I got the 5.0 also and had no interest in the ecoboost. There nice but the 5.0 will out live it by far and has plenty of power!! Plus I put corsa exhaust on mine and ecoboosts sound terrible with exhaust haha
It won't let me edit my first post now, but, I realized this is actually my second F-150. I think my first was a '97 regular cab 4x4 with a lowly 4.2. So, that actually makes 5 pick ups, I've owned. Can't believe I forgot that one. It was a good looking truck. The engine was a dog, but it looked good.
