Default FNG In Eastern Oregon

Bought my first F150 on Friday. A silver CPO 2023 XLT 3.5L Ecoboost, 10spd, FX4, 6.5' bed with a 3.31 axle and 11k miles. Got a snugtop rebel on order as well. Hunting, golfing and fishing are my three main hobbies and I'll be sleeping in the bed of this truck frequently for two of those. I've owned a Silverado and most recently a Ram in the past. Both were great trucks, I'm hoping this one will be too.

A few things I'll be doing to the truck and researching on here. I want a truck that I turn around to look at in the parking lot, but that is also comfortable and capable offroad and during long interstate trips (re: hunting).
  • 4" BDS lift with 35's on 17's or 18's. Still researching fitment with 17's. I live on Custom Offsets right now.
    • With the 6.5' bed, this is the lift/tire size that my eye has gravitated towards.
  • Onboard air (for the above, I spend a lot of time on bumpy forest roads)
  • Potentially steel bumpers, undecided there but definitely interested
  • Rear wheel well liners
  • Tow mirrors
  • Ditch lights/light bar (potentially rear LED's as well for the backup cam)
  • Seat Covers
  • Running board swap
  • Potentially a sleeping platform with a hinged lid for storage of my recovery gear.
I'll be lurking a lot and might resurrect a thread or two in my research if needed. Or send some PM's. Hopefully I get experienced enough with the truck to add my 2 cents and/or helps others out as well.

Welcome to the forum Jimmy from another first time F150 owner. I have had Rangers before the F150.

For the rear LED and reverse light, Diode Dynamics has an LED that fits in your hitch. $100. yes, it's expensive, but the light is very helpful and it's easy to remove. HitchMount LED Pod Reverse Kit https://tinyurl.com/bdzbd92v
