Finally an owner of a 351W

Hey there,

I've been using this forum to fix up the '93 F150 I bought last week. 120k miles on her, original engine and transmission. She has some coolant leakage. Don't see any oil anywhere except a bit collecting at the drain plug. New gasket should fix that. The previous owner kept her very clean on the interior and fluids fresh but let it sit for a very long time. No coolant and battery was dead when I went to test drive it.
At first, I was wondering if the guy was even trying to sell it. But the truck spoke for itself as I was falling in love before we even got onto the highway. I've been looking for an OBS for a while now but everything was so clapped out in my area and nobody wanted to give a good price. But I had high hopes for this one right away as I've always been a fan of the 351 V8 engines.
I decided to go for this one and she has been running like a new truck after some fresh oil, filters and a PCV valve... And of course spirited cruises!

I can't wait to put some new winter tires on her next month and maybe a paint job in the next year. Is it normal to fall in love with these trucks so fast? Let me know your experience!
