Default First Time................Ford owner, that is.

Hello. This is my first ever Ford vehicle (2020 XLT - FX4) Well, except for that 1979 Fiesta that I drove back in college. Not sure if that counts. Anyway, due to some peer pressure, and statistical/data gathering, I went for the F150. Was going to purchase 3.5 liter V6 EcoBoost, but ended up purchasing 5.0 liter V8. I like the sound of it. :-)

Already have a few concerns that the dealership is working to resolve. However, what is up with those seats and the headrest. That is really imperfect! I've seen a lot of entries on this site and other sites as well. I am one of those. Cannot get comfortable at all. Already had to take a 1,200 trip (unexpectedly) and it was so painful and uncomfortable. Those head restraints push way too far forward...even in the furthest back setting. Pushes against my neck and head. Makes me feel hunched/crunched over the entire time I'm driving. Have tried every setting possible. Now feel like I've purchased a disaster. Cause, if I cannot drive/ride comfortably, then this is huge.

Thanis for any tips, tricks, advice, etc.

Meronjo

Welcome to the forum. I've read that some other owners with the same problem with their headrests have actually taken them off and put a slight bend in each post of the headrest so they don't set so far forward. Good luck.

I believe you can take the headrests out and flip them 180 degrees, so they angle back... but maybe I'm wrong.
