Default First time F-150 owner

Well I just purchased a 2008 F150 Limited. This is my first full size pickup. I've had lots of Bronco 2's and 3 full size Bronco's (1 of which is was running 40's....still kickn myself for selling that one) and a couple rangers. My most previous vehicle was a 97' tahoe. I really liked that gas guzzler...had it for 8 years. I've been searching for a f150 for about 8 months waiting for the perfect one...and I found it. I mainlt wanted a truck to haul my chopper(pro-street) long distance in the winter months where I live in ND. I fell in love with the Limited only problem its a 5.5 ft bed....and my bike is nearly 8 ft long. So I have thinking to do..ha ha.

Love the truck so far...only drove it for 2 days before having to go back to work. My co-worker has a 05' 150 with 35's and LOVES it so it prompted me even more to go with a 150. His only problem was his fuel pump grenated on him F*&$^&G his entire fuel system....what seemed to be of a "superchip programmer" only speculated but thats what the mechnic thought. Any ways I bought the truck last weekend and so far have purchased a few things to make my driving experience a little better.....edge evo (which will be made to a gryphon)..CAI (K&N) and a MAS that was basically given to me. That should all be waiting for me when i arrive back home next week...... then its off to the exhaust shop to delete that suffocating stock exhaust....The "Air Pump" needs to breathe. Ok so i just want to say that I'm very happy to find a forum as intellgiant and friendly as this one, a very high to all contributors to this site....nicely done!!

Btw, did you purchase the Edge Evo new? You could buy a Gryphon from PHP. Same price, and you get a discount on the custom tunes I believe.

AZFX4, Yeah I jumped the gun and pulled the trigger on the EVO. Wish I would have done a little more research and gone with the Gryphon. So it Looks like I'm going to need to send the EVO in to PHP and get it upgraded. A little hesitant thou after reading the lag time on the upgrade.
