First time I've owned a pickup and loving it so far. Have always gone with cars so far and friends think I've lost my mind having gotten rid of my 2013 Jaguar XJL to buy a pickup. Bottom lines is at 6'2" the comfort is unsurpassed (who knew getting in and out of a car could be so easy) and technology on 2018 is right up there with the top luxury car brands from Germany.
Looked at GM Denali and Ram as well but found the tech on the Ford was way ahead... adaptive cruise with the start/stop is something I've had last couple of cars now and wouldn't go without again. Looked at Limited (awesome truck BTW) but found interior colour a little dark and ride of 22s a little rough for my taste. Went with a King Ranch optioned out the same and loving it so far.
Have already spent hours reading a bunch of threads and the advice/knowledge has been very really helpful in deciding model/options and mods. Really appreciate how willing members are working to answer questions and provide advice.
Hope to be able to contribute versus just taking info away over time.
Thanks for the welcome. No major mods at this point. Dealer did 2.5" lift kit, spray liner, bedrug, BakFlip trifold. I've made 10 or so software mods with Forscan (very cool). Ordered all the necessary parts to upgrade ambient lighting this weekend (cannot adjust colour/intensity on 2018 without swapping out for 2017 parts), aeroskin II hood deflector and LED license plate lights. Should be good for a little while but admittedly like the look of the Putco Blade tailgate light bar...
