Default First F150

After almost 50 years of owning dozens of vehicles (I have 6 currently) I bought my first F150, 10th Generation.
It needed some work. Have a cooling system issue and code P1000 MIL still. I hope to learn a lot on this site.

Welcome to the forum !
Share a pic of the truck.
I belive the p1000 means the computer has not run all its tests.
Try driving the truck a bit.

It has been a while since I was on here. After over a month I still cannot get rid of the P1000 code. That is the only code. Is there another way to clear it besides driving it? In the meantime the inspection sticker has expired and so can only drive it at night. Thank you.

Try putting the year, make, model, and engine into a google search with that code.

You might have to click and read a couple of them to get a good under standing of the code, and how to reset.

Or post your info here and I'll try to set up a link.
