Default First F150

Had Ford's since the 70's, but have never owned a F150. The old 04 F350 6.0L was a WONDERFUL truck and I have zero complaints about it, but it was way more truck then I now need, so it was time to find a smaller one. Only haul a Thunderbird around a few times a year now, so the EcoBoost was the option I wanted and no Nav System with a crew cab for the kids. I have plenty of trailers, so the short box works.

Purchased a 2011 EB 4x4 CC. It is extremely plain, but that allows for items to be purchased and installed.

Things to change: (not a short list nor exactly easy to swap over)

6 Disc CD changer with MP3 (yes, I want the MP3, but can't stand the sound quality, but it helps the kids watch movies)

Rear power window, switch and overhead wire

Brake controller, Switch for the Dash

Reverse bumper and Reverse Camera

Dual climate control

Things ordered already: WeatherTech Floor Mats and Mud Flaps.

Wanting to keep everything as Ford Stock as possible.

Truck has the 3.31 ratio, so that will take some getting use too. Very nice Hwy driving, but use to at least 3.73s. Might make hauling the trailer and car a bit interesting and require a 3.55 swap.

Anyhow, looking forward to reading, learning and turning some wrenches. Have my SCT Xcal2, but the tunes are set for my F350. If someone on here allows just tunes to be purchased that would interest me.

Unfortunately, that Xcal2 won't be compatible with any Ford newer than about 2009.
