First F-150
I just acquired a plain Jane 2013 XL Eco-boost V-6 single cab eight foot bed 2WD.
I have very strong feelings about eight foot beds but I'll keep them to myself.
I have worked up to this truck over the years starting with a 1980 VW Rabbit truck with a 52hp diesel motor, 1994 Ford Ranger, 2001 Toyota Tundra and now the F-150. It was my experience with the Ranger that brought me back to Ford.
The tires are nearly new so I'll wait until they need replaced before I upgrade to bigger wheels and tires.
I'd like to install an e-locker for those few times when you absolutely need the traction but I'm worried about voiding the 7yr/100,000 mile power train warranty. I'll do some research here to see if there is anything else worth prying my wallet open.
