Default First abs brake replacement

Can anyone tell me if there are online instructions or special tricks I need to know before replacing front rotors and pads on 2001 F150 4.6l v-8? All I have heard is to open bleeder valve before spreading calipers so fluid doesn't back up into the abs sensors. Any special tools needed? I have only replaced brakes on the older stuff before abs. I am replacing one rotor because the terrible grinding sound it makes. I figure stuck caliper piston or pad came off. Sounds so bad I will replace rotor without trying to get it turned.

Just open the bleeder and compress the caliper like the old style.
