Default Finally Upgraded
Long time lurker. You guys helped me a lot in during the research phase of my new purchase. Finally upgraded from the 2007 Lariat (wow a lot has changed in 9 model years). Pulled the trigger on a 2016 Lariat FX4. Had to drive all the way to Kentucky from Alabama to find the options I wanted (White w/ tan interior, 3.5 ecoboost, trailer assist - why not, right?) for the right price. Roll Tide!

Looks like the wait & the trip to get her was well worth it!

My only suggestion, run ‘93 octane in her as much as you can.

My ‘12 3.5L XLT just hit 175K miles, and the engine & turbos are still doing very well. Never used anything but ‘93 octane fuel.

It’s treated me right so far. Line-X went in today and Bak MC4 is going on as soon as I get home. Other than that, the plan is just to drive it for another 10 years.
