Default Finally the F150

Hi,
My name is Andy and I have had many Fords in my life but one has always gotten away from me... The F150. I am picking one up this month with the can't wait but still trying to decide between two STX's that I have looked at this weekend see pics below. Red one has a 3.5L and the gray has the 2.7L. I am already looking for mods for the truck and I haven't even picked it up from the dealership!!

I hope to learn from everyone and hope to share in my mods too. Talk to you all later and I will post a pic of my new ride soon...If I can decide which to get....haha

Welcome to the site! Looks like a tough choice but one you'll be happy with either way, best of luck!

I'm partial to the race red one, that's what I have in the SuperCrew.
So far it seems most with the 2.7 are happy with it for a daily driver. The 3.5 is what you want if you are going to tow over 5000#. WITHOUT the tow package, the 2.7 is rated to tow 5000#, the 3.5 7000#. Of course you need a hitch Receiver for over 5K.
The 3.5 is about an extra $1000.
It all comes down to your intended use and options included.
