Joined the forum back when I had my 1986 F150 and then my '01. Tried out the Mustang world for a while and lurked here for awhile.

Well, proud to say that I'm officially back. I picked up Ol' Red here and drove it 160 miles back, of course it rode like a champ. It's very rough exterior wise, but I like a good challenge. Mechanics are really solid, so it's got a good foundation.

• 5.8L
• 4x4
• Automatic, auto hubs, A/C, dual tanks, cruise, power w/l, aftermarket CD

The plan right now is to run through all the maintenance and fix a broken window motor. Then the fun begins...

Plans:

• Clean Engine Bay (I hate clutter and wires going everywhere)
• Mild engine upgrades, haven't researched all of them yet for the 5.8L but want to bring the HP up a bit
• Electric fan, bigger radiator (Texas heat and all)
• Long tube headers
• New clear headlights
• Tint
• New weatherstripping
• Clean interior and repair (vinyl floor instead of carpet, new dash, new speakers, LED map light, new rearview mirror...just off the top of my head)
• Convert to Flareside (if it's the correct wheelbase)
• Rhino line bed
• Repair major dents and scratches
• New paint and chrome
• Small suspension lift
• Full exhaust
• Tool box

That's the tentative plan anyway.
