Hello everyone from Central California (Home of many big trucks that are too pretty to actually take off roading)
I've just bought a used F150 after looking at every make and model for weeks through auto trader and other online sites. I haven't been in a Ford truck since I parked my 1993 Ranger XLT about 10 years ago. The F150 just spoke to me and after laying my eyes on it for the first time, I was hooked. This is a 2014 FX4 and she is a beaut. I have a few questions I'll ask later and I have a few things I want to do to it to make it really make it mine. It has a few minor issues that the dealership agreed to fix when service is open again but I am finally the very proud owner of a "New to me" F150 That will be seeing the sand dunes this summer.

Hey ladies and gents. Just found this site and figured I'd join to get and share some truck advice. This is my first F-150. Owned Chevys and Yotas prior. Got a 2.7 Stx 4x4 6 seater, extended gas tank and tow package.. So far so good. Minor gripes about shifting sometimes and bumpy rear but seems to be a common issue and will be fixed with new suspension lift and tuner in the near future.
So far I've replaced the side emblems with all black ecobeast ones including the rear chrome one.
Blacked out the tailgate letters
Got rear seat storage and all weather mats
Tinted the windows at 15%
Put on a black exhaust tip and replaced the headlights with LEDs
Plan to level with Fox 2.0 coilovers, 33" tires, leaning towards MT wheels, get the front and rear emblems paint, replace the antenna with a stubby and get yelled at by the wifey everytime I spend money on it.
Anyway happy to find this site. Right after leaving the dealer
