Finally
Hello Everyone!
I am "Finally" in the club.. Bought myself a 2006 F150 Crewcab 6.5' Bed, 4.6 Triton.
I am in the auto repair business so it was a little tough for me to decide what to get, but I needed a truck for several reasons. 1. I own a auto repair business and it is tough putting parts in my 2009 Lexus is250 with cream leather seats. 2. I race a dirt track oval go kart and again, I was unable to transport the kart at all and had to rely on everyone else. 3. What other reason do I need?
So far I am pretty happy with it, the previous owner cut the rust out above the wheel wells and had new panels put in (not perfectly, but better than rusted wheel wells) but the under side does have its typical rust so I am heading to my local rust proofing shop and having them do the rust service and a full rust undercoating in two days, so I am pretty excited to stop the future rust.
Once that is done I am gonna do the Raptor front grill and the fender flares, then I already bought some excellent condition 2018 Raptor wheels, Tires will be a little bit down the road but will happen in the next month or two.
I have already used this forum to solve the "Brake Light" issue with the connector, and I am really interested in learning more.
Thank you for allowing to be part of this group, I appreciate it very much.
