Finally!
Well, been lurking here a while now and finally did the nasty. A Brand new, black as night, Lariat SCREW 4x4 with a raucous 5.0, gorgeous pale adobe interior, 3.55 locker, chrome package and the Sony stereo.

Thanks all. Been a GM guy my whole life. First Ford (gulp) traded in a 2007 Silverado, GM's just didn't do anything for me with their current iron. It really, PO'd me that 3.42 (or worse) rearend is the norm on the new Silverado's, and with Ford's new lineup of engines I could no longer ignore how nice these trucks are. I just crested the 600 mile mark and so far I know I've made the right choice.
