Fans running with air temp
I have a 2013 f150 Limited w/ 3.5 EB. 170k.
within the last year or so the cooling fans come immediately when “cold” started on a hot day. Over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I have heard it on mid speed sometimes but usually it goes right to high speed. This does not seem to be an issue at lower temps. I’m curious why? It seems like they’re running off of ambient temp sensor rather than engine temp sensor. Anyone able to advise?
