Hi,

My Dad passed away in Sept. this year and he loved his truck. I was originally going to give it to another relative, but my son's car was totaled after he came back from Afghanistan so I gave him my 2001 Explorer Sport Track. So, I decided to keep the F150 and to honor my Dad maybe fix it up and make it a "show stopper" US Marine Corps. style as my Dad was a die hard jar head.

Incidentally, the son who I gave the Explorer to is now an ex marine also. (guess it skipped a generation!).

 

Welcome to the forums. I'm sure your Dad would be happy to see his truck fixed up. Sorry for your loss.

 

I think it's a great idea you keep your Dad's truck. Fix it up save it and someday pass it on to your boy. Love to see the pics as you progress.
