Default F150 Again

A few years ago I traded my 2.7 2016 F150 Lariat in on a 2023 Honda Ridgeline, seeking to downsize. I loved the Honda and looked forward to keeping it for years. Life jumped in and changed my plans. I retired and my youngest son and his wife gave me my first grandson, Griffin. My son Daniel is a controls engineer and my daughter in law is an RN. Scotti decided to go back to school after her maternity time was over to become a CRNA. That meant for 3 years she couldn’t work. School only. Grandpa Jones, can you keep Griffin? (My wife works….) I said yes, secretly wondering if I could. A little over 2 years in, I’m reveling in my new responsibilities. One problem. Car seats and Ridgelines don’t work well together. I put up with it for as long as I could and yesterday I traded the Honda in on a 2023 F150 XLT with 29,000 miles. The new one has the 3.5. 3.55 Max tow. 36 gallon tank. B/O audio. 20” wheels. Heated cloth seats. ETC…..

At this point I’ve only put 40 miles on it, a bit too early to commit to anything. The engine/transmission seem smooth.

Was it Your truck with the 2.7 EB or Your buddy's truck with the 2.7EB that had over 400,000 miles on it?

That’s me. I had a 2016 157”wb 2.7 Lariat.
465,000 on Pat’s 2.7.

I picked him up in it this morning. He was all smiles when he saw it. 28 months old and loves trucks. His dad (my son) has one of Granger’s warranties on his 22 Lariat. I’m considering one over the next few months.
