Default Die Hard Chevy Guy (Converting)

Before I get yelled at and heckled let me explain. I have driven Chevy trucks for 13 years. Everything from 2 wheel drive half tons to 3/4 ton 4x4's, 7 trucks in all since 2000. I recently (June 29 2013) bought my first Ford Pickup (2013 F150 SC 4X4 5.0). I have to say if I would have even test drove a Ford years ago I would have never bought another Chevy. I am not here to talk trash or put down Chevrolet as they have been a huge part of my life for many years (07 2500HD brought both of my boys home when they were born). The Ford the wife and I have bought is totally different than any truck i have ever driven before. The ride is so smooth, and quite we can actually carry on a conversation going down the road. The quality of the build and material I feel is far superior to what I am used to. The room in the back seat is unbelievable and the gas mileage is out of this world. The main reason we started looking at Ford products was due to my Parents. They have owned two new vehicles since 2001. A Ford F150 and a Fusion. They have had well over 150,000 miles on both vehicles and never had any "Major" issues with either one of them. This really got my attention. Another thing I have noticed is how nice other Ford owners are. They will wave at you (using all 5 fingers) and if any of them see you trying to pull out in to traffic they will let you pull ahead of them. So far I am extremely satisfied and happy with my F150. I cannot believe I have let something this nice pass me by for so many years. So with that being said Hello F150 Forum First time Ford owner here. And God willing this will not be the last Ford I purchase.

I came from a Toyota trucks myself. I never owned anything Ford. I love the truck. It has space, gadgets, tow capabilities and some big ole V8.. Our Expo rig is a Subaru.
