Hi guys, well I have to say the unimaginable has happened. I was a die hard dodge guy (I know, I know) with a Ram 1500 Quad cab with the gas guzzlin 5.9 l. I used it to pull 30 feet travel trailer. My truck was in for repair again, and a buddy lent me his 2002 ford F150 FX4 with the 5.4l........long story short, I bought his truck off him and sold the dodge to the mechanic that has been working on it for the last 2 years. The ford has a P0405 code but I understand this is either the EGR valve or sensor. here's to a long happier life with Ford!! I could not believe the difference in pulling my trailer with the ford compared to the dodge! I know now what I have been missing. Now have to break the news to DodgeForum.

Congrats on the truck! My buddy at work keeps on taking his dodge in for repair and I keep trying to convince him to buy ford but it doesn't work

 

Welcome.. im a die hard chevy guy..mud race chevy trucks..but when it comes to tow the truck to a race i crawl in one of my fords lol...they tow great..and i use the v6 f150... pulls better than anyone can ever imagine
