Hey guys, I'm new to the Ford world. I traded my '09 Silverado for a 2011 Platinum 4x4 in golden bronze just about 2 weeks ago. I bought the Chevy new and kept up with maintenance religiously. After 115k miles, the 5.3 dod decided to wipe a cam lobe. That truck nickel and dimed the hell out of me while I had it. The Ford just feels leaps and bounds nicer and higher quality. The 5.0 has plenty oomph to pull my little boat and feels stronger than the 5.3 with an intake and exhaust. So far the only thing I've done to this truck is added the led running lights in the grill from stage 3, and a leveling kit from RC. I'm looking forward to learning more about these trucks as I go. I don't think I'm going to change too much on this truck because it is so nice as is. I do have a set of black oem projector headlights to swap out the stock halogens but I'm going to try to trade for a chrome set first. So far, I'm really diggin' this truck!
