Brake light question?

Brake light question?
My name is Jerry and I recently purchased a 09 F150 King Ranch. I'm getting an error message on the dash, the "check brake system" light keeps coming on. I had the vehicle inspected this week and it passed with no issues. Can anyone advise if this may be a sensor issue or something else?

Welcome to the forum Jerry. If you have a scanner, you should pull any codes from the computer or any parts store can do it & post what codes are in the computer & we can possibly help from there.
