Default Back to ford

Hello everyone. My name is Don and I live in Spring Lake Michigan. I'm a machinist at a shop in Grand Rapids MI. I just bought a 2013 f-150 xlt super cab. It has 68,000 miles and pretty close to all the options I felt were important. I looked a long time to find the one I wanted at a price that I was willing to pay. I have owned two ford trucks in the past. A 300 ci and a 302ci. Both good trucks. I am leaving a 2004 chevy that was getting long in the tooth. I hope it is ok to say that "C" word. I'm an all brand kind of guy as long as the company has headquarters here in the good 'ol USA. I am a ham radio operator, like to hunt, fish, and camp in the back of the truck. I hope to glean a lot of info from the site and hopefully contribute as well. Thanks for the site.

I work for a company called Suspa. We make dampening devices for Whirlpool washers and also gas spring cylinders. You may see those on the back window of your pickup topper.

I machine consumable resistance welding electrodes and tooling from various materials. Modify tooling, automated machinery, and occasionally actual product. Every day is different. The 45 mile drive isn't that interesting but I'll be done next spring/early summer.
