Well, first of all thank you guys on here. I have lurked for a few weeks (ok months) looking at different issues and mpg numbers on the 2011 F-150. I test drove all the current 1/2 ton trucks in search of a 3/4 ton that got better mpg's and would do what I needed it to do as I do not have the need for a 3/4 ton all the time anymore (I still have two for work) and tow about once a week. After trying them all I liked the Ford the most. I have had a Chevy (and a couple GMC's) for 17 years now and this is my first Ford. I feel like I am cheating on my wife but I love m new truck! Of course I still love it at under 500 miles but I suspect I like it just as much at 100K. I picked up a 150 "Screw" 5.0 long bed 4x4 off road xlt ... I call it a Unicorn because after all the looking I did I had a very hard time finding a screw long bed without a Eco in it. There honestly is no comparing the Ford to other half tons IMO and it was VERY hard for me to get over that. Have a great repore with my Chevy dealer and still will, but met some good guys at the Ford dealer and I hope to not have to see them again for a while lol. Now off to the Forums to check out mods ...

In the near future I need to
1 tint the front windows to match the rear
2 level or lift whole truck
3 Bed liner (spray)
4 one up the tire size
5 bug guard and wind guards
6 ...then Im done unless sugestions are made :-)
