Question Auto Stop/Start

The leftover new 2019 we just leased has the auto stop/start option on it. Not sure yet if i like it or not, but it has a strange quirk to it. I can disable it by pushing the button at the top of the dash, next to the emergency flasher button. So that's okay, But sometimes when I do that, the radio comes on! Not every time, but say, 3 out of 5 times it does.

Just wondering if I have a potentially serious computer problem with it. Has anyone else experienced this?

thanks

I haven't experienced that on my 2018 yet but the radio is on most of the time I'm in the truck though.

I've had my 4D Tech auto start/stop eliminator since about a week after I bought mine so I haven't had to deal with it.

Also, I’ve found that if you turn off the start/stop function, it automatically turns back on next time you start start up the engine.

Yep, you have to do it every time unless you get an easy fix like I did. Check out the 4D Tech auto start/stop eliminator, I love mine.

That's what it is supposed to do. Check the Owner's Manual
