I just purchased my 3rd F150. It is a 2015 XLT SuperCrew FX4 with the 2.7 ecoboost that currently has 250 miles on it. I had 2012 Lariat SC 3.5 (I really miss that truck) and a 2003 F150 Supercab I drove for 250k miles. (I miss this one too).
I'm here because I'm slowly making tiny upgrades to the new truck. I've already put in the Weathertec floor mats (living in Alaska this is a must). I also got rid of the stock filter and put a K&N filter for the heck of it. The dealer was kind enough to throw in an aftermarket bed liner. It turned out better than expected.
I already have one major complaint about the new truck. Being that it is a fairly base model truck it did not come with the Sony stereo. The stock stereo is the worst I've heard in a new vehicle in recent years. I've got to upgrade the speakers and would love to hear your suggestions. I'm currently thinking about replacing the stock door speakers with JBL running off of the factory head unit. Any thoughts?
Also, the truck is going in to Ford on later this week because the driver side door will not look with the remote or even with the button inside of the vehicle. You have to manually push it down to lock the truck. The lady at the local Ford shop said they've had few of locks that get too cold and the actuators malfunction.
I do intend put in rear fender well protectors, mud flaps, LED lights head lights and fog lights, and then finally put a leveling kit and larger tires. I'd love to hear product suggestions on any of this stuff. Also, does anyone know what size tires will comfortably fit under this truck with a leveling kit? I really don't want to put on spacers or cut any of the fender liner out.
Thanks!

For the leveling kit I would recommend Rough Country. I have the 2.5 on my truck and it rides just like stock. Im not sure on the largest tires you can put on it.
