Picked up my F-150 FX4 with Lariat package a couple months ago. Plan on leveling and changing wheels/tires and swapping the running boards for Amp Research. That's what led me to this forum. All the threads with photos are a huge help. I'm an old fart (46...not really) but young at heart. Believe it or not I traded in a Mitsubishi EVO X for the truck. One extreme to the other right? The car was over 330 Hp at the wheels (Dyno-proven) and handled like it was on rails. Used to eat Porsches for lunch. Okay...just certain Porsches but still it was fun. I had a ton of work in that car but honestly just needed a truck. My wife drives a 2 seater so we were always cramped for space.
Live in Valencia, CA - work in downtown Los Angeles. I ride a Yamaha FJR1300 most days so I can satisfy my need for speed and keep the miles off the truck. I have to say though, that the truck is no slouch. It gets right on down the road.
I was born/raised in So/Cal, my wife if from the great white North. Saskatchewan to be specific. About 2 hours directly north of Minot N.D.
