Straight up drag racing machine I guess. doesnt seem that fun to me. Maybe as a second hobby, drag racing a 250 hp quad and trail riding a 60 hp Raptor on the side haha

Im not here to get in a pissing contest but the yfz jetted and piped would beat the raptor with your mods up until about 4th gear then the raptor's hard hitting torgue would take over and come out on top end.(In a drag) I wasn't saying you couldnt ride i was saying the guy on the yfz couldnt. On a track or trail that requires hard turning and quick stops and take offs again the raptor would get beet hands down. One more thing all of the extra cc's that are in the 700 dosn't mean a thing it revs alot slower and the differentials are different witch
drags the engine down and it can't realease its potentiol power like the yfz.

If they could make a 700 rev as fast as the yfz it would be a monster!!!!!

Wow your quite the expert I have raced SEVERAL YFZs at the sand dunes and ones that have more than just a pipe and jets and I leave them by the end of 2nd gear. Do you know anything about the 700? It doesnt rev slow at all. In fact it builds most of its power in the lower RPMs its at higher RPMs that it drops off. "all of the Raptor's "hard hitting torque" is made in lower RPMs. You can talk up the YFZ all you want but I have experience with both. Yes the YFZ is set up for motocross and stock for stock will for sure beat a Raptor on the track but aside from that it is not as amazing as you are making it out to be. If you are trying to convince yourself because you want one then enjoy, but your not fooling me Dont feed me that crap its an insult that you think Im stupid enough to believe the jibberish you are feeding me about two machines you obviously have no experience with.

When it comes down to it, each quad was built for different purposes and with money either one has the ability to hand the other's its ***. Hell I could build a Honda 300 ex to smoke a YFZ and a Raptor IF I put the necessary amount of money into it. In the end he who shells out the most cash is going to win.

Now your thinkin you'll beat me with your Blaster? Thats a race I would take AND put money on. Whats that thing put out, around 25-30 hp?

You crack me up bro. Oh well, its all about riding and having fun I'll race anyone cuz its fun, but Im not going to sit here and say my Raptor will beat anything out there, cuz it won't, I can't afford to make it an all out race quad. But I am not lying when I say I Have beat several modded YFZs easily. Like I said, its all about who puts more money into their machine.
Ride hard and have fun!

Ya I figured you couldn't be serious
Ya I have the fuel controller, except mine is a little more advanced than the one your friend has. It sounds like he has one with the three different adjustments(pots) on it to manually adjust it (they work good, just a little simpler than mine). Mine is the Power Comander PCIII. It requires a laptop to properly tune it. I have it tuned for the max fuel curve for my mods and I don't touch it, unless I add another mod where the fuel curve will need to be adjusted.

Yep that is the same one he has. I remember him saying he tuned it with his labtop before the race on couches pit NJ. It was an open class for quads and he came in second with the rappy.
