I'm Dave, a recent GMC convert. I've had 4 straight Sierra's and can't say they are getting better. My last, a '15 SLT 6.2L 4X4 was really nice in a lot of ways, but fell way short with its 8 speed transmission. Also, I leveled it when new, never went off road, yet had to replace ball joints at 36,000 miles.
My first car was a '79 Ford. It was such a pile that I said I'd never buy another Ford product again. Having the Lions to root for reinforced my belief that anything the Ford family touches is garbage. Well, here I am, the proud owner of a Lariat...Funny how life works.
