Some members are asking why this site has some ads from competitors like Chevy or GMC. Bascially, the ads are coming from google and support the cost of the site. As a site administrator we have a limited ability to determine which ads are shown on the site. Google does want to show ads that are relevant to the content of the site, and since this is a forum about trucks, there will be ads of other trucks.

I hope this helps people understand why they are seeing some ads from other manufacturers. Of course we all realize that Ford is better than those other manufacturers, but they are gonna try to advertise to us.

Jeez, it's bad enough all the newbs are posting threads about this all the time. Now the site administrators are doing it. I totally was able to read this one though without rolling my eyes to the back of my head.

 

maybe to help prevent any more threads about this we could have this one as a sticky

 

If they stickied this thread to where it jumped out of the newbie's computer screen and slapped them in the face, it still wouldn't work. They just don't get the point lol Always worth a shot though.

I guess I don't mind being called a newbie, I've only owned my Lariat for one week. I didn't realize I was going to cause such a big stink. I only mentioned the adds anyway to see some postings on junk about other trucks compared to the greatness of Ford F150's.
