Hey i have an '89 F150 XLT Lariat 
with a 5.0L/302 and id like to fix it up and make it powerful but i still have to drive it on the street so not a hot rod. Id like to put a new transmission in but i dont know what kind is best. i want torque but i also want speed and my stock tranny isent cutting it 
so if anyone wants to help me out with that and tell me some thing i should to to my truck to fix it up right let me know
